Carl is turning 5 on Monday!! For this special birthday, Poppa and I gave him a "date night" out with us. We picked him up at 5:30, and he was really dressed up! He had on his new polo shirt from E&T and a sports coat! We had reservations at "The Old Spaghetti Factory" and tickets to The Children's Theater production of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.." From us he had unwrapped the mouse character in a neck bag tote with a play cookie, ticket to the theater and dinner "ticket". Yes, the mouse came along!!

We had a very wonderful time. It's always very special to have a grandchild by themselves once in a while....especially for a really fun event like this. Carl loved the play---was totally engrossed! And we loved watching him!! Gramma loves you Birthday Boy!!
